Concerns have been raised in relation to issues with the Kilcullen road
It follows a previous report identifying weaknesses there, including trips and falls by members of the public, amid calls to alter the road.
Independent Councillor and Mayor for Naas MD Seamie Moore had requested at a recent MD meeting that the council consult elected members to agree alterations to the road, before a contract to make the modifications is completed:
Speaking on Kildare Today, Cllr Moore said "there's nearly a fall every week".
"It has gone into huge double digit numbers, very upsetting to both the people who fall and the councillors who have been desperately trying to get something done about this."
"We've been harping to get it done."
He added that some vehicles find the road difficult to navigate:
"We want to discuss all of the things that we see, for instance large buses can't negotiate that junction very well, ambulances can't find space because cars cant move over within the channels that they're in because of the high kerbing .
"There's chaos with things like that."
KCC have said that alterations and additions will be considered for the road, accepting the issues that exist on the road.
