Sallins man Colm Byrne has given an update following last months interception of a Global Sumud Flotilla off the coast of Crete.

Forces detained 184 people, including seven Irish citizens, one of whom was Mr Byrne.
According to Mr Byrne, Israeli Occupational Forces intercepted on April 29th of the coast of Crete.
Speaking to Kfm news, Mr Byrne said that the treatment when detained by Israeli Occupational Forces was "absolutely terrible".
"The treatment on the prison ship was absolutely terrible. We were detained for two days and dropped off."
"We were made sleep in containers, the maximum amount per container was 45."
He also said that " a lot of people got beaten badly", while he suffered torn tendons in his shoulder.
He now says that he is "going again" and that "we're going to Gaza".
