Provision of additional accommodation for a Kildare school has been approved.
The Dept. of Education has allocated funding to Maynooth Girls National School under the Additional Accommodation Scheme.
The school can proceed with with addition of two mainstream classrooms.
Last year, it received funding for 2 additional mainstream classes, 3 SET rooms, and a reconfiguration to create an Early Intervention Unit.
Kildare North Fianna Fáil TD, James Lawless, says "the Minister of Education has confirmed to me that this additional accommodation has been approved and this much needed extra capacity is very welcome for Maynooth Girls School"
