It was confirmed at the latest Kildare-Newbridge MD meeting
Kildare County Council has confirmed that additional pedestrian facilities will be provided in the vicinity of Roseberry Hill/Scoil Na Naomh Ullig in the coming months.
It follows a motion raised by Social Democrats Cllr. Chris Pender at last Wednesday’s Kildare-Newbridge MD meeting, whereby he wanted the safety and wellbeing of children recognised.
In response, KCC has said that the Traffic Management and Municipal District Sections have been liaising with a developer.
The works are planned to commence in the next few weeks, with completion anticipated in early 2024.
