A court in the UK has issued an arrest warrant for Prof. Dolores Cahill.
TheJournal.ie reports that academic was due to appear in court on August 10th, charged with two alleged offences in relation to a rally against Covid restrictions at Trafalgar Square in London on September 19th last.
She is alleged to have failed to answer bail, which has prompted the issuance of an arrest warrant by Westminster Magistrate’s Court.
Cahill addressed the large anti-lockdown, anti-mass vaccination protest, where over 30 people were arrested for breaching England’s Covid restrictions.
According to court filings, Cahill, whose address was given as Irish Freedom Party, Kandoy House, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3, Ireland, was charged with being involved in the holding of a gathering of more than 30 people in an outdoor public place during an emergency period.
The Journal.ie reports that she was also charged with participating in a gathering of more than six people in any place during the emergency period in England.
