Irish Water is seeking permission for the compulsory purchase of land in Kildare.
It has submitted an application to An Bord Pleanala, under the Compulsory Acquisition Housing Act
It wants to CPO lands along the Dunboyne Road, north-eastwards from the existing Maynooth Waste Water Treatment plant, adjacent to the R157, which bounds Carton Demesne.
The application also pertains to lands along the L1014 and L1015 eastwards to the R149 on the northern outskirts of Leixlip to connect north of St. Catherine's Park
Its for the Maynooth Transfer Pipeline project
ABP is due to issue a decision on March 3rd.
