Diageo are planning to build a €200m carbon neutral brewery
An Bord Pleanala has upheld the granting of planning permission by Kildare County Council to Diageo for a state of art brewery in Newbridge.
The new brewery will be the first built by the company in Ireland since the 1960's.
It will be a €200m carbon neutral brewery at a greenfield site in Littleconnell and will create up to 1,000 jobs in the construction phase.
