One man was arrested and investigations are ongoing
Approximately €220,000 of herbal cannabis was seized and one man was arrested during the course of an operation conducted by An Garda Síochána and Revenue's Customs Service in Co. Dublin earlier on Thursday.
The seizure of approximately 11kgs of herbal cannabis was made by Revenue officers in the Lucan area, as a result of a joint operations by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Q District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.
A man in his 40s was arrested and he is currently being detained at a West Dublin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
