If approved, the 45,000 sq. ft centre would feature nine championship-standard courts, a Technogym-partnered “bio-circuit” gym, and recovery rooms.
Arena Padel, co-founded by ex-Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given and businessman Declan Fagan, has lodged planning permission for a €4 million indoor padel facility at Goffs in Kill.
If approved, the 45,000 sq. ft centre would feature nine championship-standard courts, a “bio-circuit” gym, and recovery rooms.
The facility would create 30 jobs.

Given and Fagan say the aim is to make padel — the world’s fastest-growing sport — more accessible through high-quality, purpose-built venues.
