Athy Men's Shed is in a financial fight for its survival.
It has launched a fundraising campaign to try to raise some of the €6,000 it needs, annually, for rent, light, insurance, heat and materials.
The shed, in Woodstock Industrial Estate, opened in 2011, and has around 20 active members from the town, Rathangan and Newbridge.
