Biker Speeds Past Garda Patrol Car On Untaxed Motorbike In Monasterevin

In the wider Kildare/Carlow Division, Gardaí impounded nine vehicles over the weekend.

Over the bank holiday weekend, Gardaí in Monasterevin stopped a motorcyclist for dangerous driving.

The rider overtook a Garda patrol car in a 60km/h zone and then sped up to over 100km/h.

Checks showed the motorcycle had been untaxed for more than 500 days.

In the wider Kildare/Carlow Division, Gardaí impounded nine vehicles over the weekend.

Offences included no insurance, no tax, no NCT, and unaccompanied learner drivers.
