There have been no laundry services since Saturday.
Up to 81 residents at Maynooth Nursing home have had to use bottled water for personal hygiene.
According to a source, staff have had no access to laundry or dishwasher services since Saturday.
It's understood that the water tank at the Nursing home is full but repair works carried out by Uisce Eireann over the weekend resulted in a blockage in the mains.
Residents have had to boil shop bought water to clean their teeth, wash and bathe.
Uisce Eireann is currently at the nursing home.
The situation has been described as "very stressful".
