Breaking: Man Dead And Three Garda Injured Following Overnight Blaze In Naas

At around 4.15am this morning, gardaí evacuated the building and the fire was brought under control.

A man has died following a fire in a residential building in Oldtown Demesne, Naas.

Three gardai who responded to the incident have also received medical treatment.

At around 4.15am this morning, gardaí evacuated the building and the fire was brought under control.

One male was pronounced dead and his body remains at the scene.

The scene of the incident is currently preserved for a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.

A garda spokesperson told Kfm that three members of An Garda Síochána received medical attention following the incident.

Cllr Bill Clear, who lives near where it happened, said locals are shocked but Gardai acted fast.
