Calls For CCTV At Athy's People's Park Amid Rise In Vandalism And Anti-Social Behaviour

Cllr Veralouise Behan (FF) said equipment is being damaged and some cars have been targeted at the car park.

There have been calls for CCTV to be set up at The People's Park in Athy to prevent anti-social behaviour.

Cllr Veralouise Behan (FF) said equipment is being damaged and some cars have been targeted at the car park.

She said that although CCTV is not likely, she has requested that signage be placed in the park to advise the public how they can report incidents.

Speaking on Kildare Today, she said the signs would feature a QR code directing people to the relevant places to lodge a complaint.
