Calls have been made for there to be targeted education to outline the neurological damages from vaping.
It follows a recent HSE Dublin and Midlands Health Forum in which Fine Gael Councillor for Kildare-Newbridge MD Peggy O' Dwyer requested for targeted education to be introduced around the neurological damages associated with vaping.
The HSE have agreed to write to the Minister for Health for more to be done.
Kfm had recently reported on issues with vapes being sold to minors.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Cllr Dwyer said that "we haven't done enough from the point of view of a targeted educational programme".
"For me, it's to get in early and highlight the risk of vaping and discourage people from vaping in the first place."
