Labour Cllr. Ciara Galvin asked for an update at the recent MD meeting
New recreational facilities for children and teenagers are to be advanced in summer 2024, according to Kildare County Council.
In a reply to a motion brought forward by Labour Cllr. Ciara Galvin, the Council said that design work is now underway to design a mini-multi use games area and a number hang out spaces in Celbridge.
Some of these sites may be on open space within housing estates and Insync will be providing a youth worker to assist with consultation on the delivery and design.
Meanwhile, work is continuing on the Leixlip Playground and construction of it is planned for next summer.
