Chris Pender Selected As Social Democrats GE Candidate For Kildare South

He is a director of the Newbridge Family Resource Centre and the South Western Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force.

Cllr Chris Pender has been selected as the general election candidate for the Social Democrats in Kildare South.

Cllr Pender, who was re-elected to Kildare County Council in June, represents the Newbridge area.

He is a director of the Newbridge Family Resource Centre and the South Western Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force.

Social Democrats leader Holly Cairns described him as "an important new voice in national politics".
