Cllr: Rathangan Town Centre Has Become A Rat Run.

Technical assessment for traffic calming measures requested in early 2020.

Traffic calming measures are required in Rathangan town centre.

Locals say the town has become a rat-run and volumes of traffic have increased.

A technical assessment was requested in early 2020.

KCC says "Municipal District Office can not commit to installation of an island without this assessment."

Funding for any measures deemed necessary after the survey has to be identified.

Fianna Fáil Cllr., Anne Connolly, says this process began over a year ago.

Cllr. Connolly joined Eoin Beatty on Monday's edition of Kildare Today.
