Enfer Medical Limited in Naas is set to cease operations this November.
It has been operating in the Irish medical testing market since 2021.
It is not yet known how many jobs will be affected by the closure.
In a letter seen by Kfm News, dated on 2 October, the company said "ongoing and rising costs have put unsustainable stress on the financial viability of the company".
"We understand that this will come as a shock to our employees, consultants, contractor colleagues and clients," it added.
Enfer cited it's reliance on shareholders to "entirely" fund the business operations.
No "suitable buyer" for the company has yet been identified, according to the letter.
Redundancies could have a negative effect on those with a work permit or visa, with Enfer urging people to "check the conditions on their work permit/ visa", adding that it would assist in "clarifying your personal position".
It also asked for those on university placements to speak to their educational institution for advice.
