Dublin Regional Homeless Executive leases the Leixlip House Hotel for families in need of emergency accommodation.
A North Kildare councillor has asked for the creation of a referral pathway for families in need of accommodation to the Leixlip House Hotel.
The hotel is in Kildare County Council's area of operations, but is leased by the Dublin Regional Homeless Executive for the provision of emergency accommodation.
The building is currently undergoing works, which are to be completed shortly.
Social Democrats Cllr., Nuala Kileen, raised the matter at the Celbridge Leixlip MD meeting.
