A councillor says Kildare County Council "aren't minded" to commission an engineer's safety report of all roads in the Celbridge Leixlip Municipal District.

The request was made in the context of the county-wide speed limit review.

That assessment will mean limits on some roads will increase, and will decrease on others.

A county-wide public consultation on the review has already taken place

Social Democrats Cllr., Nuala Kileen, raised the matter at the Celbridge Leixlip MD meeting.

Cllr. Kileen joined Eoin Beatty on Monday's edition of Kildare Today on all of her motions before the meeting
