3,335 people in Co. Kildare were diagnosed with Covid-19 in the 2 weeks, to midnight on Monday.

The county's incidence rate remains above the national average at 1499 cases, per 100,000 of the population.

Co. Dublin has the highest incidence rate in the country at 1,703.

In that 14 day period, 64,013 cases of the virus were identified in the Republic.

The country's incidence rate for 2 weeks was 1,344 cases, per 100,000 people.

Mayo has the lowest incidence in Ireland at 712.6.

5 other counties have incidence rates below 1,000; Roscommon, Sligo, Cavan, Donegal & Wexford.
