The completion date for the new National Children's Hospital has been missed for the 18th time.
The Kill-based contractor, BAM, was due to hand over the building on April 30th, but the deadline will once again be missed.
It will take another seven months after the keys are handed over for the hospital to open.
A new date is due to be provided within 15 days.
It is now expected costs for the hospital will exceed €2.2 billion.
Politicians at the Oireachtas Committee on Health have described the news as 'devastating', 'mindboggling' and 'some kind of a horrific circus'.
