It comes as a local TD has called for more political oversight of Uisce Éireann
There has been continued concerns raised in relation to water outages and future roadworks in Celbridge.
Social Democrats TD for Kildare North Aidan Farrelly spoke in the Dáil on Tuesday night, outlining that "the people of Kildare and the eastern region are sincerely sick and tired of waking up to dry taps".
Speaking on Kildare Today, he spoke about the issues at hand:
"You're talking close to double figures of unplanned outages every year."
During his Dáil speaking time, he questioned the political accountability and oversight present with regard to Uisce Éireann:
"If we put a question to the Minister for housing who has ultimate responsibility, the first line of every parliamentary reply is that water is not his responsibility. People go to the authority or the local authority and they say it is not their problem either. TDs cannot get answers from a Minister and councillors cannot get answers from the local authority."
Kfm had previously reported on the concerns from local resident Kevin Mullen due to upcoming road works in the Celbridge area, which are due to begin on the R405 Hazelhatch road on May 6th.
