Some houses in the estate have been boarded up for years
Concerns have been raised about the number of derelict homes in St.Patrick's Park, Rathangan.
Up to 15 homes have been boarded up in the estate for years.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Cllr. Noel Connolly said that one man moved out of a home in the estate 15 year ago "leaving it turn key condition" but the house remains unused today.
The Sinn Féin Cllr. said something needs to be done as a matter of urgency, to address the situation in the council estate.
