Straffan resident Conor McGregor is appealing a refusal of his plans for a large-scale mansion with two swimming pools.

He was refused planning permission after he didn't agree to scale down the project.

McGregor submitted plans for a 32,693 sq ft six-bedroom mansion to replace his current five-bedroom home at The Paddocks, Straffan.

The proposed estate includes a cinema, bar, games area, and two swimming pools on a 10-acre site.
