Construction of a Clúid Housing development for older persons on the Dominican Lands in Athy is expected to begin early next year.

The design for the project has been finalised in collaboration with Clúid and the relevant internal departments.

Up to 34 age friendly homes are expected to be built.

The next step will involve progressing the development through the Part 8 planning process, with council members receiving a briefing before the official launch.
