Fine Gael Cllr. Tim Durkan asked for an update at the recent Clane-Maynooth meeting
Kildare County Council says construction on a new playground in Kilcock should take place this summer.
The news was confirmed at the recent Clane-Maynooth MD meeting, after Fine Gael Cllr. Tim Durkan called for an update.
In response, the Council confirmed that the design for the playground has been completed.
The preparation of the tender is expected to be completed either this month or next, before it's advertised.
The Council concluded by saying it's hoped that construction would take place over the summer, but that it's dependent on the availability of the contractor that wins the tender.
