The Peter McVerry Trust had intended to redevelop this property for housing accommodation purposes but have recently advised they are no longer in a position to carry out this redevelopment.
Kildare County Council is at an "advanced stage" regarding the purchase of the Alms House on the Dublin Road in Naas.

The house, vacant for at least 20 years, was originally founded to house the poor women of Naas centuries ago.
