Council Give Late 2027 As Timeline For Bus Shelter In Monasterevin As Plans Under Consideration

It comes as calls have been made for a bus shelter to be installed at the second bus stop in Monasterevin

Updates have been provided from the council for a bus shelter installation in Monasterevin.

It comes as calls have been made for a bus shelter installed at the second bus stop in the area.

The council have said that the existing west bound bus stop (152361) is currently under consideration for upgrading, with anticipation that any approved upgrade works at this bus stop would be delivered in late 2027.

Speaking on Kildare Today, Independent Councillor for Kildare-Newbridge MD Pat Balfe cited the population of the area being more than 5,500 while also referencing his work with Monasterevin Access Group to have the shelter installed.
