NCVH recorded almost 5,200 contacts through calls, texts, emails and post in 2020, across Ireland.
Kildare is "under represented" in terms of contacts to the National Crime Victims Helpline.
The organisation provides help and support to anyone subjected to a criminal act.

It says harassment and assault were the most common crimes service users reported last year.
Executive Director, Michele Puckhaber, has been speaking to Kildare Today.
She says there were fewer contacts from Kildare than anticipated.
