Criminal law barristers are standing on the steps of courthouses across the country today, including Naas Courthouse, as part of an ongoing dispute with the Government over pay.
Today’s withdrawal of services marks the first of three days of planned action for this month.
The fees were cut during the austerity years and despite a 10 per cent restoration in last year’s budget, the body representing criminal law barristers says it’s not enough.
