Permissions for houses are static.
There's been a surge in planning permissions granted for apartments in Kildare.
That's according to the Central Statistics Office, which says the pattern began in 2018.
Sorcha O'Callaghan is a Statistician at the CSO.
Speaking to Kildare Today she says, however, that this pattern doesn't extend to permissions for houses.
