Emergency services are operating as normal but the emergency department is very busy.
The HSE says "There are delays for patients who need non-urgent care.If you have a question, phone 045 849 910. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm."

The HSE is advising patients "Go to any appointments you have at health centres, mental health clinics and disability services unless they are listed as cancelled. We will contact you if there is any change."
