A woman in her 80s has been seriously injured following a collision involving a truck and a bicycle in Monasterevin.
A woman in her 80s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Monasterevin this morning.
The collision, involving a truck and a bicycle, happened on the R414 Rathangan Road, locally known as Cow Pastures, at around 9.50am.
The cyclist was taken to Mater Hospital in Dublin, while no other injuries have been reported.
The road remains closed for a technical examination, and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with camera footage from the area between 9.15am and 10.15am.
