The stud is conducting a "full business review" of operations in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
Derrinstown Stud says it cannot comment on speculation that redundancies are to take place at the North Kildare campus.
The stud spans 2,000 acres, and this year, is standing 5 stallions.
It notes that, at present, it has " a qualified resident vet plus over 90 staff"
The original lands were purchased by Sheikh Hamdan in 1982, and since then, 11 other stud farms in Maynooth and Celbridge were added to the Derrinstown network.
The stud is conducting a "full business review" of operations in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
It says it is "maintaining an ongoing confidential dialogue" with staff until that process is complete.
The stud's statement to Kfm Radio, in full, is: "Further to your enquiry about Derrinstown, as you are aware there is currently a full business review being conducted with regard to operations in the UK Ireland and USA. Until that is complete, Derrinstown is unable to provide an update on the position as supplied in the statement on September 16. We will be maintaining an ongoing confidential dialogue with our employees throughout the review process."
