Labour Senator Mark Wall received confirmation in the Seanad
Labour Senator Mark Wall has confirmed to Kfm that a design team has been appointed to progress the provision of a new hospital in St Vincent's Athy.
A 48 bed unit will be constructed on the current site in stage one, followed by a 44 bed unit, including two ten-bed dementia units in stage two.
Senator Wall said the next stage is to design and put out the tender, which will be done in due course.
