Uisce Éireann have cited extremely high demand on the network as the reason for the disruption
Uisce Éireann is advising customers supplied by the Allen Reservoir that extremely low levels of treated water will impact supplies to customers from 4pm this afternoon.
Areas impacted will include Coill Dubh, Prosperous, Derrinturn, Kilmeage, Robertstown, Allenwood and surrounding areas.
Normal supply is expected to resume from approximately 7am tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 27 May).
It comes amid soaring temperatures, with works announced last week for the installation of pipes.
Uisce Éireann have said that Alternative Water Supply will be provided from approximately 5pm this evening, until 7pm tomorrow evening, Wednesday, 27 May at the following locations:
Prosperous National School, Curryhill, Naas, Co. Kildare (parking bays along front of school).
Aylmere Court, Kilmeage, Co. Kildare (near the Old Dispensary).
R403 Allenwood, Co. Kildare (parking bays adjacent to 120 / 120X Bus Stop).
Former Grand Canal Hotel, Robertstown, Co. Kildare (large gravelled area to the east of the hotel).
St Conleth’s National School, Derrinturn, Co. Kildare (parking bays along front of school).
The Village Arch Café, Coill Dubh, Co. Kildare (close to the archway).
