Water Supply Disruption Expected In Allenwood As Works Due To Begin Next Week Amid Soaring Temperatures

The works are set to affect supply in Ballyteague, Kilmeague, Derrymullen and Allenwood.

Water supply disruption is planned for Allenwood and surrounding areas from next Monday May 25th to allow for the installation of new pipes.

The works are set to affect supply in Ballyteague, Kilmeague, Derrymullen and Allenwood.

It comes as Met Éireann have reported that it will reach as high as 24C on Monday.

Uisce Éireann have said that the installation of pipe, 4.8km in length, will help reduce further water supply issues, adding that the existing pipes were prone to bursts and leaks.

Works will begin in the Derrymullen area and will include installing new water service connections from the public water main on the road to customers’ property boundaries and linking them to the customers’ water supply.
