The plan is part of the Kildare County Council Development Plan 2023-2029
Kildare County Council is inviting people to make submissions on the Draft Monasterevin Settlement Plan, as part of the Kildare County Council Development Plan 2023-2029 (as varied).
The plan will guide future development in the town, including land use, housing and infrastructure.
The consultation portal can be found here.
Posting on social media, Fine Gael Cllr Kevin Duffy described the public consultation period as "a significant opportunity for everyone who lives, works, studies or invests in Monasterevin to help influence how our town develops over the coming years."
Also highlighting the Draft Monasterevin Settlement Plan was Independent Cllr Pat Balfe, encouraging "everyone to review the proposals and contribute their views."
Submissions are open until Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12 noon.
