In a separate operation on Naas Main Street, Gardai seized two vehicles.
A driver is facing court proceedings following a Kildare Garda operation.
Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle while on patrol.
They say the driver gave "false details".
It then transpired that the motorist was banned from the roads.

In a separate operation on Naas Main Street, Gardai detected 2 unaccompanied learner drivers.
Neither had L plates.
Gardai have impounded both cars, and issued fines and penalty points to the drivers.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting a checkpoint last nigh on the Main Street in Naas. 2 unaccompanied Learner drivers with no L-Plates on their cars were stopped.
