Drivers Caught Speeding Up To 40km/h Over Speed Limit In Donadea On National Slow Down Day

Nationally, 268 drivers have already been caught travelling over the speed limit

Drivers in Donadea have been caught speeding up to 40km/h over the speed limit on National Slow Down Day.

Naas Roads Policing Unit detected three drivers in Donadea speeding at 100km/h, 92km/h, and 91km/h in a 60km/h zone.

These offences resulted in a €160 fine and 3 penalty points being issued.

Speed enforcement operations will continue throughout Kildare and Carlow today.

Nationally, 268 drivers have already been caught travelling over the speed limit.

The National Slow Down Day operation runs for 24 hours, until midnight tonight.
