Nationally, 268 drivers have already been caught travelling over the speed limit
Drivers in Donadea have been caught speeding up to 40km/h over the speed limit on National Slow Down Day.
Naas Roads Policing Unit detected three drivers in Donadea speeding at 100km/h, 92km/h, and 91km/h in a 60km/h zone.
These offences resulted in a €160 fine and 3 penalty points being issued.
Speed enforcement operations will continue throughout Kildare and Carlow today.

The National Slow Down Day operation runs for 24 hours, until midnight tonight.
