Dunnes Workers To Deliver Petition Calling For Pandemic Pay Rise To Be Made Permanent.

There are Dunnes shops in Maynooth, Naas and Newbridge

Dunnes workers will deliver a petition to Head Office in Dublin today over their efforts during the pandemic.

They want their temporary 10 per cent Covid premium and 20 per cent staff discount made permanent.

There are Dunnes shops in Maynooth, Naas and Newbridge, and in Kildare's hinterland of Blessington and Edenderry.

They'll arrive at Dunnes Stores HQ on South Great Goerge's Street at 1 o'clock this afternoon.

Mandate National Coordinator, Jonathan Hogan says they want the payment retained as they haven't had a pay rise
