Investigations continued for a second day where an estimated value of €100,000 worth of drugs were seized.
€1.2 million worth of cigarettes were seized in Edenderry during a search operation at a business premises on Tuesday 12th May, in a joint operation involving Gardaí and Revenue Customs.
Following enquiries by Gardaí, a follow-up search operation was conducted under warrant at two premises in Edenderry, on Wednesday 13th May 2026.
Items seized included a number of cannabis-infused jellies and chocolate, THC and HHC vapes and suspected cannabis herb.
The estimated value of drugs seized is up to €100,000, pending further analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
Cash to the value of €4,000 was also seized by Gardaí.
No arrests have been made at this time, and investigations are continuing.
