One man in his 40s has been arrested
Gardaí have seized €300,000 worth of various controlled drugs during a search operation at an address in Saggart last night.
At approximately 11pm on Thursday evening, Gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) conducted a search under warrant at a house in Saggart.
Assistance was provided by the Garda Dog Unit.
During the course of the search, 2kg of suspected heroin and smaller quantities of suspected cannabis and cocaine were seized by Gardaí.
All drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
One man (aged in his 40s) was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
