Local community and voluntary groups are being invited to take part in consultation events to learn how communities can benefit from a new €4.6 million community fund linked to the Kildare–Meath grid upgrade.

The funding will be released in three phases - when construction begins, mid-way through the project, and once it’s completed.
Information days will take place on Tuesday, January 27th, from 9am to 1pm on Naas Main Street, and from 1.30pm to 6pm at Monread Shopping Centre.
A further session will be held on Wednesday, January 28th, from 9am to 2pm on Clane Main Street.
