The council holds a bond, which can be used to complete necessary infrastructure in the estate.
Local residents have called on Kildare County Council to clarify when essential works will be carried out at the Louisa Park Estate in Leixlip.
Residents, who contribute to Local Property Tax and Management Fees, face challenges due to outstanding essential works, including road surfacing, footpaths, drainage, and boundary treatment.
The council clarified that the development was always intended to be a private one, operated and maintained by a management company.
Despite this, the council holds a bond of almost €322,000, which can be used to complete necessary infrastructure in the estate.
In response to queries raised by councillors, officials stated that the council is actively engaging with the management company of Louisa Park to address residents' concerns and progress the outstanding works.
