Works scheduled to finish by end of September
The final phase of Irish Water's essential works to safeguard the drinking water supply for homes and businesses in Co. Kildare and the Greater Dublin Area, will begin on Monday.
The works are scheduled for completion by the end of September.
The company note the "works form part of the Barrow Extension project which will provide up to an additional 18 million litres of drinking water per day for communities across the region."
Irish Water have advised that some customers in certain areas of the county, will have their water supply disrupted while works are on going.
These include:

Brannockstown
Broadleas
Caragh
Carnalway
Kilashee
Ladytown
Naas East
Naas North
Naas town centre
Naas West
Old Connell
Rathaskar Heights
Spring Gardens
Two Mile House & surrounding areas.
The utility company notes crews will make every effort to minimise the impact on customers.
Both Irish Water & Kildare County Council regret any inconvience caused to customers.
