The Fine Gael group on Kildare County Council is calling for clarity on the ownership of land earmarked for road widening for quarry access.
They are: Councillors Peggy O Dwyer, Kevin Duffy, Tracey O Dwyer, Ivan Keatley and Mark Stafford.
In a motion coming before the September meeting of Kildare County Council, they want to local authority to "confirm the land ownership proposed to be used for the widening of the L8006 and L8007 by Kilsaran Concrete from Racefield, Ballyshannon, to Ballyshannon Cross as indicated in planning file 19/1097".
Furthermore, they are calling for a commitment to "engaging with the local residents on the road."
