The lights have been out since August due to fire damage at a junction overseen by motorway contractor Egis Lagan.
It could take ESB Networks several more weeks to restore lighting on a section of the M9, despite repair works being completed last week.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland says certification has now been issued to ESB Networks, which is expected to trigger the reconnection process.
